About Shamrock Chapel

Shamrock Chapel is a private owned chapel hosting an historical pipe organ. The organ was built in 1872 and is the first South African built organ. The chapel can seat up to 100 guests and can be used for weddings and organ recitals. It has spectacular views over the Sundays River Valley.

Directions from Bluewater Bay outside Port Elizabeth:

1. Head north
2. Take exit 761 for R335 toward Motherwell
3. Turn left onto St George St/ R335
4. Continue onto St George St
5. Continue onto R335
6. Turn left onto R336
7. Continue on the R366 for about 9.8 km until you find the Shamrock Chapel roadsign
8. Follow the roadsigns

Directions from Graaf Reinet Road in Uitenhage:

1. Head northeast on Graaff Reinet Road toward High St
2. Turn left onto R75
3. Turn right towards R336 (Kirkwood)
4. Turn right onto R336
5. Continue onto R336 for about 16 km
6. Follow the roadsigns
